I don't want Ginn dead, sad face
Same here man, they should've killed Chloe instead. Nothing against EL, but the character is just like a bland piece of toast.
Ginn was frakkin' hot.
I actually agree that Chloe being killed would be a bit better, she is useless, but the show also invested a lot more time into her which would make her death, Scott's anger, etc, easier to sympathize with.
I'm sad Ginn and Perry are dead, I wouldn't have thought it would have killed both of them, so what happened to the other body on the other side, is the body still alive but with no mind? Or is the body dead too? They need to explain this better.
No they don't. It's probably the most logical aspect of the entire (plot) device that they've written
We have 9 hours till destiny jumps into ftl?? they control the ship know, that makes no sense.
I didn't get that either. Do they have partial control or just a pure flub?
Yes, the mighty master code. Why call it a master code if they can't... ya know... control the engines. Kind of silly.
Noooo! Don't kill Lt. Jugs!
Unfortunately she took the blast from the rear. Her front side is better protected.
I bet she does take the blast in the... oh forget it.
9/10 for the unnecessary Rush blame game and the Chloe stuff hurting the pacing a bit.
Wasn't that redshirt pretty much toast regardless of Rush's lies anyway? I don't get it.
And why does everyone diss the music montages? I've found some of the best songs from them.
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but your taste in music sucks
First SGU episode I've watched since the season two premiere. It was a fairly brutal episode. Didn't have any emotional attachment to the people who died, but watching that Lucian Alliance guy mowing people down as he made his escape was a bit chilling.
The emotional attachments are definitely lacking. Rush's loss is obviously the biggest, Eli's is really kind of superficial... when it comes down to it some chick he knew for a couple of weeks max that he got it on with... big whoop. He'll get over it.
Strangely enough another show I watch this week had an extremely similar ending to SGU's last week. I'll keep it vague to avoid the spoiler factor, but on that show it really feels a lot harder hitting since they've spent much more effort developing the relationship between the characters, and I'm about a million times more interested to see what happens next there, as opposed to this week's SGU which had me waiting with... mild curiosity.
Anyway, it was a pretty decent episode, 7/10, but all the gun stuff and tracking seemed really awkward. I don't think T-Bag would've been missing like that at moderate range with targets that were basically out in the open not paying attention. And then they walk in a single direction for a few hours and Greer just then finds a track? C'mon man. It just didn't seem to make sense. It sure didn't feel like highly trained military professionals hunting down another highly trained military professional.
I was kind of hoping T-Bag would stick around on Destiny in John McClain Die Hard mode. Overall I think his character could've been used in a lot more interesting ways, but it was a better little arc than I would've expected from this creative team.
