Destiny is attacked by drone ships while attempting to recharge its power reserves, forcing most of the crew to gate to a nearby planet while Eli tries a risky alternative.
Well, this is the next to last episode folks!
Just watching it now... did they drop off all the colonists before the the start of the episode?
The resource thing is actually one aspect of SGU I can't complain about. They've done a pretty good job of selling the fact that the ship is a barely-functioning rustbucket with limited supplies, and they keep running low on necessities.
Im willing to bet the drones are from Futura
As for the episode, a solid 9 from me. I've loved near enough every episode this season, ive said it before and i'll say it again - its a damned shame its been canned.
Never thought of that.Im willing to bet the drones are from Futura![]()
Yeah, it is a pretty good way to include humans and human culture in the mix.So, the galaxy Destiny travels in is now colonized by humans, just like the Milky Way and the Pegasus galaxies? Except that this galaxy is inhabited by Destiny's "descendants". The latter part is what makes it cool, I guess.![]()
The only thing I don't like is how stars are portrayed on TV. Stars are blindingly bright, yet TV almost always shows them as orange (or in this case, blue) CGI plasma. I've learned to accept it, but I still want to see someone attempt to do a star as it really is. The movie Sunshine came close. But sun-diving is awesome.
