First of all, thanks for all the votes.
By "What were they thinking?", I mean a design (of a ship, costume, monster, alien, prop, etc.) that's just so utterly stupid/ridiculous/retarded. Perhaps something you think they must have come up with while high.

Just designs ? You mean I can't do Peter losing his powers or Sheppard standing there getting punched by a girl ? Bah.
If you can depict one of those in a single avatar, then sure, they count.
So yeah, not just designs, but plot points too could work.
