Contest: ENTER SF&F Avatar Contest: Trick or Treat

It's that time of year. The days are getting shorter and cooler, the leaves are changing, the pumpkin spice is in the air and the stores are putting up their Christmas decorations. That can only mean Halloween is right around the corner.

With that in mind, this week's contest is "Trick or Treat," and features scenes from SF&F shows (TV or movies) that take place on, or depict, Halloween.

Standard avatar contest rules apply: images must be no larger than 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB, and must be SFW. Each entrant may submit up to three entries. Please identify the character in your entry, and where they are from. The contest will be open for about a week or so.

I really, really, want to say "yes," because I love Peanuts more than almost any work of fiction in my life but I'm going to have to disallow that entry to avoid qualifying as SF&F more or less every comic strip or cartoon with a dog or cat that "thinks" or displays some humanlike behaviors (see, e.g., "Fred Bassett," "Marvin," "Hi and Lois," "Beetle Bailey," "Bliss," "Garfield," etc.)

According to what I just looked up (insert "the more you know" meme here), DotD starts at midnight on 11/1 which, if my fraternity days meant anything, is a time period during which people are still still celebrating Halloween. So I'll allow it

And Catspaw is widely considered "Trek Halloween" so that's okay as well..
