Contest: ENTER SF&F Avatar Contest: The Future is Female

SF&F isn't just for the guys! In addition to classic characters, we have seen a surge in recent years of women characters headlining new SF&F projects, inspiring new generations of girls and young women.

In honour of IWD today, the theme for this week's contest will be The Women of Science Fiction & Fantasy. You may enter characters from movies, television, comics and video games. (Despite the thread title, this doesn't actually have to be set in the future.) Please don't repeat a character that someone else has entered, but it is OK to enter more than one character from the same franchise.

Standard avatar contest rules apply: a maximum of 200 x 200 pixels, and a maximum file size of 1 MB. Your entry must be SFW. Each entrant may enter up to two entries. Please identify your character, and what movie/show/etc she is from. The contest will be open for about a week.
