Congratulations also to first runner up od0_ital, and my co-second runner up, auntiehill. Yes, I feel a little like Laura Roslin, suddenly becoming president of the Twelve Colonies, but being so far down in the succession list that you never actually expected it would happen! 
So our topic for this contest is the criminal element in science fiction and fantasy! Petty thieves, con artists, serial killers... anyone who is on the wrong side of the law.
