Contest: ENTER SF&F Avatar contest--(Not so) Scary Monsters and Silly Creeps

the G-man

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Thanks for all who voted in the last poll.

Continuing the Halloween theme, this week's contest is devoted to classic style monsters (Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula, ghosts, etc.) playing comedy roles in movies and/or TV shows. From Abbott and Costello meeting Frankenstein to Beetlejuice.

Special rules: Intentional comedy, that is. Not "so bad it's funny" stuff (sorry, Ed Wood fans). Also, no aliens, human serial killers or the like.

Usual rules: 200 x 200 pixels max, 1 MB max and Google/work safe. You may enter up to 3

Contest will go up in about a week, due to the Monday holiday in the U.S. and Canada (and anywhere else of which I am unaware).

Good luck everybody.

The Dr. was named Frankenstein, the monster was Frankenstein's monster.

If this counts...

The Monster Squad (1970s)

If that last one counts as a repeat of The Monster Squad above, which I didn't notice until after I posted, then I will delete it.

since it’s not just Wolfman, I’ll allow it
It is literally a different property. The source of the entry from @theenglish is the 1976 TV show "Monster Squad":

While my entry is from the 1987 movie "The Monster Squad":

While they share the same title (aside from "The") and include versions of classic monsters, they are very seperate and also quite different approaches to these characters.

I've added written clarification on what my entry represents, just to avoid further confusion.

Oh, OK. I thought it was two avatars from the same movie. Carry on.
