SF&F Avatar contest: Hitchin' a Ride - Creature Edition

Show us some wonderfully strange creatures used as means to get from A to B.
It does not have to be it's primary role,
if someone hitched a ride with a certain creature only one time in the existence of time...,
then thats enough to enter this competition.

there are tons of examples of this in both sci-fi and the fantasy genre so you can enter up to 5 avtars.

the usual rules as always:

.1mb max

it must be a living creature, so no spaceships(*) or flying carpets(**) etc...

(*): there are of course a handful of known exceptions,
these are sadly not invited this time around.
(**) i dont care if the carpet is sentient.... no rugs allowed.
