But it could always be worse, right? And in SF&F fiction, it often has been. So let's take a look at some of those nightmare scenarios. Your entry can be from any movie, TV show, comic or video game where they are either experiencing a cataclysm, or living in the aftermath of one. It can be any type of violent upheaval (social, physical, etc.), for example: a devastating alien invasion, a natural disaster, a zombie plague... but it should be something with far-reaching impact (national, global, or greater). Think along the lines of 2012, rather than something like The Towering Inferno.
Your entries should be no more than 200 x 200 pixels, and 1 MB in size. Each entrant may enter up to two avatars. And of course, they should be SFW. Contest will be open for about a week.
