This week's contest is devoted to Heavenly (and Not So Heavenly) Creatures---that's Gods, Angels and Demons, from TV, movies and comics. They must be "actual" Gods, Angels, and/or demons-not just something disguised or pretending to be (so no Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, sorry). Think Wings of Desire, Dogma, The Bishop's Wife, Time Bandits, Oh God!, Sleepy Hollow, American Gods, Lucifer, Devil's Advocate, and Constantine. If in doubt, just ask.

Standard av rules apply: 200 x 200 pixels max, 1 MB max, and work-safe.

I'll put the poll up on Thursday, the 9th.

Here's mine, from Supernatural:
God himself, Chuck.

^ make sure your entry is done before Thursday.

Great entries, everyone! Keep them coming.

^ That's from a Funny or Die skit, yes? Sorry, not a movie, TV show or comic book. I'd accept something from an actual web series but not just a 4 minute video. Even one single episode of an anthology series would work, like Twilight Zone or something.

Ah ok.. Yes i think it was a short-movie made by his son or something. "my roommate poseidon" I find something else :techman:

Other examples people could use:

Ned Flanders as the Devil in a Halloween episode of "The Simpsons".

The Devil from "Fantasia".

God or Satan from "South Park".

The Robot Devil (if that counts) from "Futurama".

If we're counting cartoon appearances, God (although he was always only shown from the neck down) and non-Flanders Satan also appeared on The Simpsons. God and Jesus appeared several times on Family Guy. Bender met an entity that was arguably God. And Jesus used to be a regular on South Park. There were also the Super Best Friends on South Park, consisting of Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Moses, Joseph Smith, Krishna, Laozi, and of course, Sea Man.

I forgot about Jesus on SP.

Also, many Gods to chose from on "Hercules: the Legendary Journeys".

Wasn't somebody portraying God in the series finale of "Quantum Leap"?

^[nerdvoice]The Bartender (also named Al) played by Bruce McGill.[/nerdvoice]

And yes, I will accept animation entries.
