Seven's Sweaters

For our international board members, you may know this knitted garment as a "jumper" instead of a "sweater." I kind of like the word "jumper" better.

Kor

My gammy used to knit me sweaters.

She never did figure out how tall I was.

Man looks really sad. His friend asks "what's wrong?" The glum man explains "it's my birthday, and all I got from work is a sweater" His friend tries to empathize "Well maybe it's a really expensive sweater?" "No, No," the said man continues " It's just that last year they gave me a moaner and a groaner."
Let's try to keep things family friendly, shall we?

Seven of Nine starts out wearing a green sweater:

The last time she wears the green sweater is when she takes out Jay:

When she's on the cube, she wears a gray tank top over a black (?) shirt.

I'm just wondering if there was any symbolism I'm missing? (Green sweater = Out of Control Seven? )

You can but those same exact sweaters at wal mart I believe. They were about 10 bucks a piece.

Covering herself in technology to keep warm, something with diodes and a battery that is constantly humming, is probably anathema to the former Borg.

No those day’s are gone. Her eye implant is all that’s left.

I was referring to a Federation issue or ranger issue heated coat with electric powered heating coils that might make her feel like she is being assimilated again.

Anika don't play that.

She may be fine with what's still inside her, but the idea of adding more tech to her body, even if it's just a coat, when she's almost free of it?

That sounds panic attack inducing.

Surely a woolly jersey is more mentally soothing than loading her down with more technology?

Did the Borg upgrade Picard's artificial heart?

"Jean Luc" says Bev "I can take out the Borg heart they gave you, but quite frankly, I think you'll live for an extra 20 years if you keep the upgraded Borg Heart."

I read on Trekmovie on of the things Patrick Stewart mentions Picard in season 2 having to deal with his consciousnes being downloaded into an Android body and Starfleet's reaction of him being brought back like he was in the season one finale.

Why say anything to SF? Just the La Sirena crew and the androids know about it.
