I didn't intend to write "look it up". I intended to write "look up" meaning look UP at the top of the forum and read what this forum is.

But the harness is also good.

This implies the dampeners worked well enough so every object inside wasn't glued together on one side of the walls.Voyager buried itself intact under ice and left everybody inside very dead. If the dead Seven had accomodations like a starship sickbay she may have been re-animated like Lyndsey Ballard, but would she be alive?

Lyndsay was alive, she just wasn't human.

Different instinctual imperatives.

She didn't feel the same compulsions to stay on Voyager, thrash against the impossibility of returning to Earth, or even laying under Kim every night waiting for him to stop chanting "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can... TOOOT! TOOOT!"

Committing to Starfleet is like a calling to the priesthood.

It's about sacrificing your needs to improve upon the greatest good.

She just wasn't into "Starfleet" any more.

(Or Kim's chugga chugga puffing.)
