The comfy slippers pic is one of my all times favourites, Gov Kodos. She looks so adorable, relaxed and beautiful in that one.

I think I spent a couple months and 82 thousand words disproving a link between J/Cers and Seven haters! I love them both, and although I bow at the ingenuity and sweetness behind many J/7 vids, I'll go to the grave seeing there relationship as purely nonsexual. (Just like I'll go to the grave seeing the opposite between Xena and Gabrielle! ;) )

I'd love to see these 82 thousand words! :) I've seen this happen with mine own eyes having spent a lot of time around the J/C chunk of our little fandom. It absolutely isn't everyone, but it sure happens.

I think the fine people here, however, do not indulge in such things, which is nice :)
 
I'll include this one, since some may not have it or have seen it when it came out; also I sympathize, since I had to migrate my photo albums, too -- and it's going to be happening again, since Apple is discontinuing Mobile Me. This is gettin' annoyin'!

I felt for her breaking down during "Year of Hell, and loved her response to the "female bonding" aspects of her show.

Didn't she almost become a biomedical engineer because she had the right luck/skill/drive in her mid teens to get a scholarship, why do you think she turned down her career as a scientist from a Hollywood movie?
 
Before I watched Voyager, I dismissed her as a tool to get ratings. When I started watching the series on DVD and online, she quickly became a favorite character. I liked her tendency to be utterly logical (she was more of a Spock than Tuvok was), and her struggle to explore her humanity. But the main reason I like her character so much....

Is that voice. MAGNIFICENT. I could listen to Ryan and Picardo all day. We were also retreated to it in "The Killing Game", where she opens the episode with "It Can't Be Wrong".

I wish very much she'd venture into singing. I'd buy a CD of hers in a heartbeat. She did a version of "Amazing Grace" in another movie, too. I tend to avoid that song (it's overused, and I'm not religious), but I listen to it again and again just for Ryan's voice.
