BORG QUEEN: "Annika still has work to do." :wtf:

Thank God!

Now what is this work she was released to do?

Does she have to "say goodbye" to people still in her life before returning to the cube or does she still have people she needs to kill to avenge Icheb?

For people who don't want to sit through Wheaton's video ;)

But you really should sit through it for the Jeri and Jonathan insights.

Speaking of powerful women... does the Romulan Narissa get killed in the end or does she get assimilated. If assimilated did she and the other BORG get released when Seven was released? If alive will Narissa try to find her way to the Queen cell to become Queen herself? If so will her Auntie intervene to prevent that? :vulcan:

Jeri and Jonathan get interviewed by Wheaton once again, the video ends as always with a scene from next week's show,

You know the corona virus is permeating all of society when the EE video ends with "Wash your hands". :brickwall:

When I realised Seven was plugging herself in and becoming Queen of the cube it was the coolest moment ever. Massive fangasm. "Oh my god!" out loud, the whole lot.

Her plan crashed and burned almost immediately but still. "We are the Borg", the ship healing itself, the rows and rows of alcoves lighing up. Awesome.
Get me a cigarette.

I never thought I would be rooting for the Borg against the Romulans.

I re-watched it tonight and realized I made a mistake.

Narissa wasn't killed or assimilated by the xB's, someone beamed her away at the last moment, to what I assume was her Romulan ship.

She lives to terrorize us for another week.

Still not sure what Annika's unfinished business is, maybe she'll need to contact a fellow FENRIS Ranger, B'Elanna Torres-Paris to say goodbye?

Seven intentionally somebody else this episode, when one of her drones snapped a Romulan officer's neck. Which was in revenge for...

...him blowing all the drones out into space, which was really the weakest, most contrived moment in Ep. 8 (it was silly seeing all the XBs zip out like Superman, drones can survive in hard vacuum for a time, and Seven could've transported them back in.

Also when she phaser stunned those Tal Shiar operatives to save Elnor, she may have killed them (when a too heavy stun setting could feasibly kill with scrambled organs and concussion, etc) though it may be a continuity goof (with blue beams used instead of red).

Though quite likely she did non-lethally took them down, but their breathing and heart was slow, and the Romulan lady checking them was too much in a hurry (and uncaring) to properly check and revive them.

Umm, I think she was a murderer in episode 5's Stardust City Rag. Remember Bjazyl, AKA Icheb's killer?

Hmm.

I thought the FENRIS ranger SOS was from Hugh because I saw Elnor grab it from under Hugh's desk before he activated it and because Seven's first question when she arrived was "Where's Hugh?" But when I watched the above clip and saw Seven give something to Picard I realized what that "something" was and really, it would be silly of Hugh to hide something so valuable by hanging it under his desk.

But then I watched the end of ep 6 again and Picard did not give it to Elnor and the kid is so good I doubt he stole it from the ship.

So I rewatched Hugh's death scene again and its not obvious but you do see a string hanging from his hand when he grasps Elnor's face. (Tmestamp 2:15)

Elnor tried to save Hugh but could not and Hugh, even as he was bleeding out, did the best he could to save Elnor.

One lost but hopeful cause looking out for another.

RIP Hugh.

I like the fact she is a ruthless mercenary, but I don't buy the whiskey drinking. I think she would view that as poison to the body and not partake in alcohol consumption.

Maybe she likes living dangerously? (The very definition of a badass.)

I miss that they got rid of her intolerance to alcohol. That was one of the more funnier parts of her character.

I think it was synthehol she got drunk on, she probably tolerates the real stuff just fine. ;)

I don’t think that’s how it works. :)
Plus wouldn’t it still be synthehol? He got it in the holodeck after all.

Seven...
Came through a transwarp conduit in her cube but then it was immediately crashed into a planet by gigantic space flowers
In episode 9.

Look how she casually, disrespectively kicked over the side dead/unconscious Tal Shiar officers as part of her "clean up" (partially understandable after a ton of XBs got spaced). Hugh "had" to die, because he was de facto leader of the XBs (and now she's their "queen").
