Seven of Nine is back in ST: Picard

How does it confirm she's a Lesbian? She could be bisexual.

Today, we almost have the confirmation that Seven is bisexual, especially with the heavily implied relationship between her and Bjayzl but I remind you that during Seven's journey on Voyager, we have only seen her surrounded by potential male mates (Chakotay being the only one who we have seen on screen in intimate scenes..., well if the exchange of chaste kisses can be associated with any intimacy) BUT we don't know if she ever had gone further with him, in having sex).
For my part, I remember very well, from s4, to have wondered if someone who just came out from her cocoon, like Seven with her Borg chamber, bound to be straight... . Indeed, it would have seemed much more likely to me if that, in her quest for regaining her humanity (yes, she was born as human but kidnapped and reprogrammed by Borg at 6 or 7 years so, of course, with still no real knowledge about her sexual preferences), a better knowledge of human beings and her insatiable curiosity, she wouldn't try to be intimate with both sexes, whetever human or alien then decide afterwards, which was the most enjoyable and which machted her the best, especially since she was surrounded by strong personalities as Kathryn Janeway and B'Elena Torres, who were women ; Tuvok, the Doctor who, though a hologram, has taken a male appearance (note that I didn't quote Chakotay because they rarely met from s4 to s6and each time, it was very tense between them.

And if I have written that Seven of Nine was suposed to be lesbian, it was because Bryan Fuller, who was gay - and still is, besides - wanted that this new character be lesbian. Brannon Braga, who created the character, agreed to the idea as Rick Brennan, who supported it too but the big guys of CBS/Paramount refused (surely because they have been feared of the reaction of male viewers, who were in majority, at the idea of introducing a sexy female character who would be only interested in women. Hey, they were already having trouble accepting the idea of female Captain so... .
Jeri Ryan confirmed in one of the articles mentionned in my last posts, that she would have seen no problem playing a Borg in quest of her humanity incidentally lesbian and even Kate Mulgrew wasn't opposite to see Janeway flirting with Seven like she flirted with Tom Paris and/or Chakotay (besides, in some articles, Ryan & Mulgrew admitted openly having played some of their scenes sometimes sexier than it was expected).

And another one, as interesting as the previous:

https://comicbook.com/startrek/2020/02/21/star-trek-picard-spoilers-jurati-kills-bruce-maddox/

It finally confirmed that Seven was supposed to be a lesbian character right the beginning but the plot was changed because some people have been feared to introduce a sexy female character who would be only interested in women. Result: we got Seven only interested in men.

It confirms nothing of the sort. They give absolutely no proof whatsoever other than what they want to think. And, no offense, but it sounds like you're just thinking what you want to think as well.

Also on IMDB, Jeri's episode count has been reduced from 5 down to just 2, unfortunately (but what scenes we got with her were amazing).

She's not in the next episode, but I don't think it's implausible she comes back with the Rangers to assist Picard's ad hoc crew.

.

Darn, I assumed since she was being listed in those other eps on the IMBD it was proof she did NOT die in that final shoot out.

Maybe some other Fenris rangers showed up in the nick of time to save her from her revenge.

ETA: This article gives me hope.

She looks like one of the most physically dangerous women in the known galaxy, she can probably voluntarily switch on her Borg shields. You'd think she'll get killed by a dozen or so bouncers and hoods?

I'm thinking she may show up in the last episode, not unlike Disco S2 when
Everyone they'd helped out, Klingons, Kelpians and Po came to assist at the end

how am I supposed to know? It seems to be at odds with the post you responded to... but maybe you could educate us all and let us know.

Im not sure I understand what you mean. Someone here who has been writing long diatribes about Seven being gay used a link to an article at comic book.com as ‘evidence’ that Seven is gay. Except the article they quote does not give any sort of evidence other than the article writer’s opinion. I then pointed that out. So what’s the problem again?

Who said there is a problem? I didn't...

Sorry, I got the impression you were accusing me of something. If you weren’t, my apologies.
Thank you; I appreciate the apology. I absolutely was not trying to accuse you, though I can see how it presented that way. Internet not the best mode of communication...again.

The latest "Ready Room" gives me hope.

Speaking of the Ready Rooms' interviews... am I the only one who  whenever Will turns every question to another actor or producer or director around to reflect/extol about himself?

You can't go by IMDB (it's primarily fan-generated).

When Seven of Nine is around, one ranger is all you need! :guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw:

All of whom attended the Star Wars Storm Trooper School for Lousy Aim.

She's not in the next episode

How do you know that?
