Opinion. I say we do not need one quite so soon, and that is how I see it. Your words do not sway me, nor does the fact the other person happens to agree with you. I have never been intimidated by mass groups of posturing, and I won't be at this site.
You're entitled to it, we all disagree, have fun in the corner on your own, as you said yourself you don't mind that one bit.
Oh I am sure there are fans someplace on here who agree with me. Or not, the internet is wide and expanded. But somewhere someone agrees with me.

It sounds like something a mouse would sing in a disney movie.
Nobody knew how to do TNG when they started, why would they want to do it again.
Different people, different designs, concepts, etc.. GR is gone. It needs a whole new premise. Trek has always been too ambigeuos to imitate. The format is worn out. Trek stories can be told within plenty of new formats and still be called Satr Trek.
