Seskas Baby

I wish Voyager had saved the baby and eventually returned him to Seska's family, assuming she had any.
Now that would be kidnapping a child from the father.

(Not to mention that they didn't even know if they'd ever return to the Alpha Quadrant, let alone locate Seska's family, if she even had one.)

His father was an idiot.
So was Sean Penn's character in I Am Sam, but that wasn't enough to prevent him from winning the custody of his child. ;)

Holy resurrected thread, 2009 I forgot that year ever happened!

From your link:
Seska's baby was portrayed by an unknown infant.
In
Star Trek Online, Seska's child is now fully grown and named Sessen (β), has taken over his father's role as First maje of the Kazon-Nistrim. He carries on his parents' vendetta against Starfleet and blames them for his mother's death.

Do NOT make me play STO which this small tidbit makes me want to do. I tried it once but was ideologically opposed to it so was unable to continue. However now I want to know more and will see if I can find stuff about Sessen on youtube from STO.

Cardassians are family orientated. I think it would be interesting to see Seska's brother having survived the Dominion War, trying to hitch a ride with one of the Federation slip stream ships to go in search of the boy.

Considering the damage inflicted on Cardassia by the Founders, Seska's brother might think he was the only surviving member of his family. It's possible that he learned of Seska's death and son after Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant.

We don't know if Seska actually had a brother.

Her talk about a brother could have been a part of her Bajoran cover. Maybe there was a real Seska who was captured by the Cardassians and "our" Seska, an agent from the Obsidian Order took her place.

Or maybe she had a brother on Cardassia Prime, who knows.

In which case, it would be something for a novel.

Personally I don't think Culluh mistreated the child or let anyone mistreat him. I think he had feelings for Seska and decided to raise the child as his son and possible future Maje over the Kazon-Nistrim.

I had a difficult time buying Cullah as a tender father when he was so verbally abusive and in some instances physically. * edited for uncalled for personal attack on a fictional character, hehe.
