Seriously, wouldn't Simon Pegg look more authentic with a Scotty wig?

Re: Seriously, wouldn't Simon Pegg look more authentic with a Scotty w

How sad that you won't give the new actors any chance just because they don't look like the actors who played these characters first.

I am going to still see the movie, I did not say I was not going to give the movie a chance at all, the recasting thing is what is a problem

It's only a problem if the acting is bad.

And, I still prefer Roger Moore over Sean Connery as 'Bond' :D

Brosnan or Connery are my favorites. Moore is underrated as is Dalton

ouch, who you talking about then?

Since you just quoted the stuff that outlines who I'm talking about I'm going to assume that you're just deliberately screwing around.

I'm done here. Enjoy.
And I quoted it to show your insults and disrespect when I did not insult you.

*sigh*

Alright, I'll take another crack at this.

Disrespect is a judgment call, but I certainly didn't insult you since we weren't talking about you. We were talking about this group of people that hate the OT simply because the PT exists. If you're part of this group, you never said so.

As I said, it seems a little silly because one doesn't have anything to do with the other.

Connery and Craig are the only Bonds. :techman:
I'll add Moore to the list, only because when I was a little kid for some reason I couldn't tell the difference between Moore and Connery (crazy, huh?).

Craig is definitely my favorite Bond now, even though Quantum of Solace was really disappointing.

And I have also not heard of these crazy people that hate the entirety of Star Wars just because the prequels sucked. If such people exist, they are immature morons.

Not crazy at all - what you encounter in childhood is what imprints you, as far as popular culture is concerned.

My experience was different - I was in college when Moore replaced Bond - uh, Connery. Connery's last turn as Bond had been lacking as a Bond film, IMAO, but Connery had anchored it well nonetheless. The broad, parodic take of both "Live And Let Die" and Moore's performance itself lost me - and despite catching at least one or two of each of his and the following Bond performers' outings, I never again was into the whole Bond thing.

Until Craig.

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service," BTW, was a decent movie with moments that would have been great had Lazenby been more interesting.
