Series 7 Web Episodes

How did it go from 4 to 5? That month gap must've been one hell of a month (mind you, I know what happens next - saw the NYC premiere).

At the risk of sounding like a 42 year old child: one more sleep to.

I need you too raggedy man.

Hmm, shame that wasn't forshadowed a bit more in the 4 eps that came before it, still a bit sad.

And Cutter John, I agree. I'd like to see the "It's not fun anymore" reason for leaving used more often. As Mark said as well, too often travelling with the Doctor is seen as AWESOME and something you want to do TILL YOU DIE! Realistically companions would get bored, become tired of the horrors they see (and let's face it they do see some horrible things) tire of the travelling around, probably get homesick and want some stability in their lives.

Travelling is a wonderful thing, but few people plan on doing it forever, most want to settle down, have kids etc. Martha was good in that respect (about the only thing I liked about her!)

I suppose a tragic/pathos episode was not unexpected. Still I like the Doctor inventing pasta. I think Amy's "We need you. I need you." is interesting. These may be the first Chibnall pieces I really liked. :)

Agreeing with most of the above. I thought 5 was done with a nice sense of foreboding and sorrow. I'm now very excited for tomorrow evening.

Are those scenes of Rory going out the door what happened when Amy is talking at the end, or something that will happen which the Doctor is remembering?

Knowing they were only 1 minute +/- each, I went ahead and waited, and watched them all back to back (I think this was probably better then only getting a minute a day). I enjoyed them, the Ood was hilarious. Pity they couldn't be even just a minute longer apiece, but, worthwhile, nonetheless.

Pity about the ending of the fifth one, wonder where that came from? :(

The thing I'm taking away from this series is that the Doctor has become almost like a clingy ex-boyfriend in his Eleventh life. The sort who calls up at 2am becuase he's feeling insecure and wants to talk.
I'm starting to think that they aren't going to kill off Amy in the mid-series break, but rather she and Rory are simply going to get fed up and tell him to piss off and leave them alone.

Yeah, same here. The Doctor gave them a thrill ride life of adventure, and yeah, it could be dangerous and scary. So he drops them off to spare them any harm.....but now that thrill ride of a life is just annoying when you're only hearing about it or are on the fringe of it. How can you move on to normal life when you're getting constant reminders of the awesome life you no longer have.

I too think they'll finally reach their breaking point, and that the "heartbreaking" thing we're hearing about is them telling him to stop visiting them or something.

It has been quite a while since something genuinely gave me goosebumps. But episode 5 of the webisodes did just that.

I so cannot wait to see what's in store this series, and to think it starts in less than 32 hours!

I don't even know if this is going to happen, but I'm already sad about it! :(

Well I knew there was going to be some sort of breakup from leaked footage, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon. I wonder if its more Rory whos gotten sick of Amy going on about the Doctor so much. I love the man, but hes always seemed to be a tad insecure.

Not to be neagative, but to be honest, I've always been a bit iffy about the chemistry between those two. Rory probably felt lucky to have gotten Amy, but to be blunt, she never quite seemed to be as into the relationship.
I wonder if, like Lensman suggested, they're finding that married life just isn't all its cracked up to be without the excitement of travelling with the Doctor. Like the old saying goes, "The honeymoon is over".

[river song]Spoilers![/river song]

Can't say, pinky swear.

EXTERMINATE!

Not sure it's the excitement is over without the Doctor. If he were truly not around much I think Rory would be fine and Amy would be the one getting bored and walking out from frustration. I would think Rory would be tired of going on the adventures for the risk they bring to Amy, and her constant willingness to go off with the Doctor.

A good point too. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Possibly, Rory is enjoying the "Home Life", Amy is pretending to, but, everytime, there's a "Doctor Event", (such as a visit or a call) it irritates Rory that it interrupts their life (But he can handle this) and Amy drones on and on about the Doctor or the excitement of him, and that's the last straw that broke the Jealous Camel's back?
