Series 7 Web Episodes

You know, they're not under any obligation to make anything extra beyond the TV series. And if I were Moffat and had to put up a bunch of whingers complaining that the extra thing I wasn't entitled to in the first place wasn't 100% to my specifications I wouldn't bother making any more.

(Jesus, me defending Moffat. This must be Bizarro World.)

^I think you're overreacting to our "complaints." I doubt any of us are actually upset about anything.

Not much there, but perhaps the webisode proper will be longer. Though I did spoit a new trailer I hadn't seen yet, "Predator of the Daleks"

Oh yeah!

Oh dear. The old boy is getting on in centuries, isn't he? Bit of senility and dementia setting in?

Amy's line now makes perfect sense: "See, this is what happens when you travel by yourself too long."

I like how the Ponds are Companions who don't actually travel with the Doctor but whom he visits from time to time like a deranged uncle.

Pond Life # 2 -- Slightly better than #1 in that there is less "this is a promo commercial" feel and that we get to truly see the Doctor from the Pond-Williams POV, i.e., we love this guy but he's a bit of a jackass. Gives me hope for the season.

Just noticed these are written by Chibnall as well as his two (would have been three if he'd had the time) TV scripts for this series.

There really is no chance of anyone other than him taking over when Moffat goes, is there?

Part Three: June.

You can tell Chibnall is a Doctor Who fan, and that this was written for Doctor Who fans -- the punchline evokes a fan description of the Pertwee era.

The Frasier-esque music was a nice touch.
