September/October Challenge: Vacation

I would like to thank everyone who participated and voted in the July/August Challenge. For the September/October challenge theme I propose stories about vacations.

These stories can be original characters, established Trek characters, etc. canon or non-canon, from any incarnation of the franchise, or characters from other properties or genres. There is no page length or format requirements. Please include links to your entries in this thread.

The contest is open from September 3 through October 31st, 12:00am EST.

I only now realize that the deadline was yesterday. I had originally read it as October 30.

I'd suggest to make that the new deadline so we can get one or two more entries.

The challenges have been running two months for a while now. I assumed that @DarKush meant for the challenge to run to the 27th or so of October, with voting to run to the 31st.
