I think the then-25 year old painting was in James Bama's personal collection. I wonder if they photographed it anew for that book. Was it a high-res image, better than the Blish cover?

I think the then-25 year old painting was in James Bama's personal collection. I wonder if they photographed it anew for that book. Was it a high-res image, better than the Blish cover?
Total was 14 combined TOS and TNG.
Some older stuff, some original artwork, and various from the Pocket novels covers.
Hard to tell online, but I'm not sure the resolution was particularly high.
This one is interesting:
Was that the collection that included a Robert McCall illustration of the TMP Enterprise?
My favorite part is the huge plume of fire coming out of the shuttle bay.
That's Spock practicing his distress call for Galileo 7.
It's slightly better than the reproduction on the cover of Blish's "Star Trek (1)" but far from great.
