I still need to see this in theaters. And, I may not be able to until possibly next week since I'm trying to get a tentative business together as well as some writing projects together.
"Selma" is of interest to me, personally, because it is timely, and it is a movie about Martin Luther King, Jr., which has taken some time to come to the big screen. Not too mention, this film was directed by a black woman.
On another note: One of my favorite films is Spike Lee's "Malcolm X," a film about the civil rights leader who was King's contemporary. Another film that also had some timely messages. And, I hope to be 'wowed' by "Selma" as I was with Lee's film.
