Sela

I hated this character.

I was glad Denise Crosby was cut the first time around. I did not need to see her again. I wish they could re-edit "Redemption" and insert a different Romulan in all her scenes.

Crosby's evil Romulan was average at best. I can't think of a Romulan on TNG that was worse. I wasn't sorry to see Yar go either, but she did have at least one good outing, and that was Yesterday's Enterprise. She was pretty good in that one.

What's everyone's problem with Sela? She's got two Emmies and she's gorgeous, to boot!

I agree. Beside Sela's interesting backstory, I never had the impression that she was an evil thingy. Somehow, Denise Crosby's performance never convinced me that Sela was a harsh nemesis. I mean, come on ... she can't fly around a net and gets laid down by Spock. Literally. Not much of a bad guy, is she?

Sela was a dumb idea and Crosby was terrible in the part as always on TNG. At least she was consistent.

Sela looks best as the Sela Sheep.
