Seeding a Fourth Trilogy

Do you think they will be laying any foundation for a fourth trilogy Episodes 10,11& 12) during Episodes 7, 8 & 9. Unlike Lucas, you got to figure Disney will not stop at this trilogy with the overall story of Star Wars. Marvel has its 'Phases' so you have to wonder is Star Wars will have a similar plan.

Will it again be yet another generation removed from they days of Ren and Rey? It would likely still need to keep up with the Skywalker family.

I don't doubt that the suits at Disney would be thrilled have another $6 billion dollar trilogy lined up for the late 2020's but at this point that trilogy is just a gleam in Bob Iger's eye.

I think they will be about halfway through Star Wars Phase I before they start looking at Phase II.

They also have to see how Rogue One does next Christmas season to gauge how many Anthology movies to make verse a fourth trilogy.

If people will lineup at theaters for a story that is not about the Skywalkers (though it is possible Vader will be in it and there could be a Leia cameo). Or more than just the Dan Solo movie later on. Would people line up for a story that didn't tie into the rest of it via the know characters? Would they go for an Old Republic movie? Or one based on the Clone Wars or Rebels plots lines/characters? Or something taken from the old EU and given a life of its own?
