^ Those are the GI Joes that I grew up playing with! Even though I was born in 1980, my grandmother still had all of my dad's old GI Joes stored in her basement.
I did have a few of the "tiny ones" (which I would play with at my friend's houses)... but the "real GI Joes" were always more fun to play with.
The only real advantage to playing with the tiny Joes was that you could pop that screw out of their back and mis/match their body parts.
Man, looking at that pic brings back some memories. I need to go digging though my dad's basement and see if I can find those guys! I think we had every guy pictured except for the black dude.
