Well, that whole experience was more of...everything...than I expected.

Seriously, if you were a fan of the series, you very much should pick up the documentary when it's available.

How was the documentary. The big reason I donated to this was to see more behind the scenes stuff about a series that I want to see more behind the scenes stuff for. I mean DS9 was on at the time when Trek was firing on all cylinders and might have been spread too thin considering you had the movies, DS9 and Voyager almost going at the same time. I just really want more from that era.

I think the documentary is pretty much a "must-have" for any serious fans of the series.

I actually asked the facebook page when this was going to be released digitally, and they said that what was shown was not the completely finished product. They are still working on HD restorations and a few other things. Hopefully this comes out digitally for Christmas.

I'll just say that given what I saw, I would much rather they spend some additional time for a higher-quality work than push out anything before it's the best they can make it.

I mean, at times I wasn't even sure the documentary would actually happen. I think my heart skipped a beat when I got the email with the details for the screening.
