I generally don't like pumpkin ales, so I would either have to make A LOT of bread or have leftover beers that I would never drink.

When I have made pumpkin beer bread, I just got a single bottle and used it for one loaf of bread.
I don't know if the stores in your area allow you to break up six packs of beer, though.

Not typically. Sometimes you can do a mix and match 6-pack, but only from a pre-selected assortment of bottles (usually crap they're trying to get rid of).

I would love to try pumpkin spice peanut butter!

... but even I might have to draw the line at pumpkin pasta sauce. That one sounds like it might be a little too out there, even for me.

(And pumpkin spice apple cider sounds great, too, but I don't generally go for "sparkling" ciders.)

Have you ever had pumpkin soup? It's very traditional, and not sweet or cinnamon/nutmeg-y. I think the pasta sauce would be like that.

Pumpkin is just a type of squash, after all.

Aldi's usually has Pumpkin pasta sauce this time of year. It was quite good.

Bought my first Peppermint Mocha coffee creamer last night. Made a delicious cup of coffee!

Well, it turned out they were actually well-liked, and none had to see the inside of a garbage bag. But they're gone now, and there's still a lot of pumpkin left over, so what's next?

Well, I can tell you as a person who has changed many a trash bag in offices: fellow employees try to be nice, but often this home cooked stuff ends up half eaten or not eaten at all and trashed in their trash can.


I thought I could avoid the pumpkin spice today. I bent over to get a bag of bagles and right next to the one I want: friggin' pumpkin spice flavored bagles.
