Spoilers Season Finale Reveal!

In Burnham's own universe, perhaps. But in this case, Georgiou had accepted her fate in her own mirror universe. Bringing her back to the P.U. because Burnham was sad she lost her mommy-figure-mentor was really stupid. Georgiou had already proven her utter ruthlessness; did Burnham think of the consequences of what she was doing? Hey, I'm a gonna save and bring over a mini-Hitler-type to an unprepared Starfleet. Gah.

Burnham just wanted to save Georgiou THIS TIME, even though it was a totally different Georgiou. Where's the fucking logic in that? Sarek must be smacking himself upside the head; Burnham may be book smart but her logic leaves much to be desired.

She is taking her logic courses from the same place instructing Detective Quentin Lance on Arrow.... grief seems to do this, when evil parallel universes are in play.... lmao

I guess Enterprise got it's refit a decade early in this universe. Wonder if it can use it's transporter through planets too?

Since John Eaves is doing the show's ship designs, I can't imagine it won't be beautiful.
Really? Suffice it to say we have very different impressions of Eaves's work. He's been designing ships ever since the Enterprise-E, and they've almost all been either ugly or forgettable or both.

But they still gave her a window viewscreen... Dang it.
How could you tell? We barely got a glimpse of the top of the saucer, and that was from a distance.

Firstly, hats off to @PixelMagic who shall now be renamed @MasterofSpoilers

Secondly, I loved the reveal. The design is pretty much perfect, from my perspective. Looks a lot like the original, but tweaked here and there to update it and make it fit in universe. I'm 1000% sure we are about to be inundated in angry arguments about everything from its relative size compared with Discovery, to the blue nacelles, to the exact shade of red used in the hull detailing, but I loved it. It felt amazing to see the actual, accept-no-substitutes, no bloody A, B, C or D, NCC-1701 back on screen properly for the first time in so long.

Here's the front of the Discoprise. Zoomed and enhanced.

It looks like the Enterprise had, um, Star Trek: Enterprise been the first show all along and TOS was its sequel. The nacelles evoke the NX-01 more than anything else imo. And, frankly, that shows a good design descendant. I'm satisfied.

Well..we only have seen her a few seconds so far. I like her..they really did a good job of mixing the TOS-Feel (with a bit TPM-ish bits) with the overall DSC-design style. Only thing is..I wish they would have gone for a bit lighter hullplating.
