just started season 4. watched the first 3 episodes. This show seem to be really hitting its stride. I went from someone back in january who thought I would hate star trek to someone now enjoying his second star trek series. Anyone have any favs in season 4?

Thanks so much. I am lovn voyager. The only other trek show I jhave watched ds9. Just started watching trek this year. Seems to be a lot oftrek fansdont like voyager and I don't c why. I dig it!
The show is definitely a little different in tone in 4-7 (due to behind-the-scenes changeovers.) Some people prefer 1-3, but I do lean more to 4-7 myself. I agree that 4's got some goodies - the two-parters this season are extremely good (best of the series, IMO.)
Glad you're enjoying Trek! I think anyone not familiar with Trek at all might just see the stuff that's leaked into popular culture and think it's all silly space opera, but there's really a lot of great stuff in all the series.

yeah I am one of those Season 1-3 fans personally, but I have to say season 4 is probably the best season for voyager, and over all, Seasons 4-6 are Voyager's high water mark.

Mortal Coil (a lot of people give this one crap cuz its a Neelix episode, but I thought it was a great episode)

Nemasis was sooo good. I didn't c the ending comn! And the so true hauntn last line about its easier to start hatin then it is to stop. Wow! That's great tv!!

I'm just over half way through season 5 and I must say that season 5 and season 3 are my favourite seasons so far, and to be honest Season 4 to me was the worst. But to name a few, my favourites of season 4 are:

Don't get me wrong, I love Chakotay but I really did not enjoy Nemesis at all for some reason.

Season 4 is unmatched for it's simplicity yet has a forceful presentation. Nemises is best for it's high tech. For high tech comes; Year of hell, Concerning Flight, and Message in a Bottle. What is most forceful in all the series Prey and Killing Game. I can watch these eps. over and over. They are Unforgettable.
