Spoilers Season 4 Trailer

Cooking is like painting, singing or playing an instrument. We don't object when people in the 24th Century do those.
Cooking is different...because...

On September 8th, 1966 I was 44 days from turning 9.
It was the first time in my life that on a school night (Thursday), I was allowed to stay up past 8pm.
(after spending the whole day begging my mom to be allowed to do so)

Is that enough to be considered an OLD Trek fan?

Cause I've really liked just about every incarnation of Star Trek I've seen since then.
(and I haven't missed a one)

I was a bit disappointed with Nemesis but I went and saw it twice anyway at the theater.

Pending reference and background check, yes.

Heh ... I got yer reference check right here.

And nobody gets to check my back ground until they buy me dinner (or lunch) ... :p

Well, just check out the ones to first come up with a COVID-19 vaccine here... Certain things just aren't all that closely related to certain other things.

I've been ripping my blu-rays to the computer in recent weeks. Noticed these two from the same scene at Tasha's memorial.

Wesley's red/yellow/green stays the same, but the first shot seems a little darker. Was this just something weird in the remastering process?

First post in a week. It's gonna be like this for a while.

Someone messed up on the color-correcting process. It's not just Beverly's uniform that's a different shade, it's also the skin tone. There's a lot more blue in the bottom picture, giving it a colder look.

If they used more than one camera, it's possible the white-balance on them was different. The top photo probably used an automatic setting while the bottom photo probably used Tungsten.

So, when it came to color-correction, they either missed this, or figured no one would notice or care.

Hope everything is OK, and that things calm down before the Trek shows come back.
Thanks. Life-wise, everything's fine. It's all work-related. Someone had to take time off for personal reasons, which meant all the stuff he was supposed to do got dumped on me. So now I'm doing the job of two people, but with the same type of deadlines as before, so I have to put in twice as much time, until he comes back.

Yeah, they screwed up. Who knows how, but both shots has some error or another. The bottom one is closest to correct, except Wesley's bottom stripe is supposed to be the same color as Bev's uniform. The top shot has the blue all messed up. (Something to do with trying to correct for the blue background?) Wesley's stripe, his top, Bev's uniform, even Gates' eyes...all are missing the blue aspect they should have.
