Also, one of the pages I did open had a reference to Dr. Pulaski. They must not have known at the time that Crusher was returning to the show???

This is incredible. The TNG tech manual was like my bible in Junior High - to see it's internal draft version is a real treat. I'm amazed at how they managed to retain and beef up the approach to the layout and design.

I don't recall this handy warp speed chart, though:

VOY spoilers: "warp 10 CANNOT be reached." They even used all caps.

I do! Mike Okuda stuck it chart in the back of the Star Trek Encyclopedia. I particular love the note that the speed is "meaningless"
