Spoilers Season 2 Trailers, Previews, and Promos

Highly confused about this scene from a much older preview. They're wearing outfits from the gala, and Tallinn uses her little pen device. Is this a cut scene, given that the gala already took place? Do they somehow go back in time to "clean up the mess" at the gala? Could this be a scene from Picard's mind from a later episode (since we know he has to confront more demons/secrets)? Any thoughts?

The actress that played a Europa mission director in that gala episode has said she's returning for 2.10. I had assumed that meant we would see the launch of the mission, but maybe that means we're going to revisit the gala in 2.10

Young Ducane witnesses Vulcans on Earth doing some sort of survey. Q comes to see Kore. And Raffi and Seven have to stop Jurati who is become more and more assimilated.

I also find it interesting that the trailer shows Q when Picard talks about a haunted man. Is Q a haunted man?

So I guess it’s not Ducane. I don’t care but it’s gonna get some people upset for sure.

I guess it still technically could be. Like, this guy finds out about everything, gets yanked ahead to the future with the La Sirena crew... somehow winds up centuries later down the line...

I don't know. It would require some serious leaps, but as much as I admire modern Star Trek, it's hardly a fan of simplicity for simplicity's sake.

(Here's where someone grabs something from memory or otherwise Memory Alpha, and points out to me precisely why this cannot, in any way, be Ducane. lol)

EDIT: Sun of a Romulan. I didn't realize someone else already brought this up.

Can we talk about the fake outrage look on Jean-Luc's face when the "are you an extraterrestrial life form" question drops? I've been laughing at this for over half an hour now

HIS FACE :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

EDIT: I finally figured out what the look reminds me of:

(Before anyone says anything, yes, I know, Pikachu's canonical full name is Jean-Luc Pikachu. It makes this even more hilarious. Google "Pikachu full name". You won't regret it. Or maybe you will. Sorry. lol)

Goddamn. I've been writing about Pokemon on a professional level (lol) for years. I even work for the same company that hosts ScreenRant. And I still didn't know this.

Looks like an uptick from the last two episodes which were okay, but not great. This one looks like it's
all starting to come together.

The Soongs are back, Q is back, Q is approaching Not-Soji, Seven & Raffi have to stop Jurati & The Borg Queen, and Picard & Guinan versus the FBI Guy. This is going to be a good one.
