You mean like studying Da Vinci's Last Supper?Commenting is fine as long as folks maintain a sense of perspective. It's when people wildly overreact to a solitary photo or build mountains of speculation on the basis of a single image that other people tend to roll their eyes.
"Spock has a beard, therefore he's from the Mirror Universe, therefore this season is going to suck!!!!!"
"The new Spock looks like Ethan Peck, not Leonard Nimoy. This proves that DISCO is not Prime! Damn you, CBS! Why do you hate the True Fans?"
That kind of thing.![]()
Do people study it and declare Jesus doesn't look like the Jesus in Fra Angelico's work so it's not canon? Or that St. Peter looks like he had work done? You mean like studying Da Vinci's Last Supper?
Some people think it's not John next to Jesus but Mary MagdaleneDo people study it and declare Jesus doesn't look like the Jesus in Fra Angelico's work so it's not canon? Or that St. Peter looks like he had work done?

Do you wanna go through the whole thing
It was an unnecessary comment expecting @Batwoman to police all threads. Why carry it on when it's just causing conflict? You're the only one displaying the attitude. The constant tone-policing is tedious.
Dreadful movie.Yes, I heard of that theory. Dan Brown used it in the Da Vinci Code.
Dreadful is Brown's thing. ; )Dreadful movie.
Your obsessive need to inject yourself (with snarky and condescending commentary) into the middle of every incidence of a person registering a complaint about something they consider inappropriate to tell them they're displaying an attitude is the very definition of tone-policing. Knock it off. You're the only one displaying the attitude. The constant tone-policing is tedious.
