I hope they end the Spock/T’Pring/Chapel stuff early on. It’s easily my least favorite thing from S1.
I know they won’t but one can hope.
I wouldn't mind the tpring stuff ending but I do like the Spock/Chapel chemistry. So they can keep that.
You don't work in my workplace. So, I will flatly disagree on this point because my experience tells me otherwise.
Good, because it doesn't deserve it at this point.
Things I Want to See In SNW S2:
- More Spock/Christine! Sorry, I'm a shipper. Ethan Peck and Jess Bush have entirely too much onscreen chemistry, canon be damned.
- Having said that, I want to see Christine get more stories that are not about her relationships with men or romantic relationships in general. Let's see more about her outside of her love life.
- More Erica! She's the only main character who hasn't gotten an episode of her own at this point. Also, Melissa Navia is awesome and we all need more of her in our lives.
I hope they keep up the focus on these three. One of the best things about the show.I hope they end the Spock/T’Pring/Chapel stuff early on. It’s easily my least favorite thing from S1.

Ah good shout re: her new badge. Ep9 implied her cadet training was done and we saw Cadet Tilly promoted for S2 as well. Also Uhura's uniform looks slightly different. She's also not wearing the cadet badge... so is Ensign Uhura coming next year?
I suspect that storyline's probably being reserved for if/when the Section 31 series happens.I want to see how Section 31 went from an officially-sanctioned division of Starfleet to an illegal conspiracy,
Have they even had a conversation? I don’t recall much interaction.Laan. I would have liked to have seen Spock and Laan as a couple.
They melded once.Have they even had a conversation? I don’t recall much interaction.
Ah, yes. Slipped my mind. They melded once.
No, they just have a different opinion than you. There's plenty about SNW people don't like.SNW fanboys may be the new MCU fanboys. They go out of their way to defend ev
Chapel and Spock do have a good relationship when Chapel is not trying too hard to be his girlfriend, which is what she did mostly for the later half of the series...
Maybe this is why her obsessions with Spock
Continuing to characterize Christine as "trying to be his girlfriend" and "obsessed" when in fact both parties have displayed the exact same levels of attraction and the exact same reluctance to act on those feelings, is really gross and borderline misogynistic.
I love the attitude that if a woman is pinning over someone it's "bad writing" but a male figure could do the same and have no issue (in fact, just watched an NCIS episode with that happening). Chapel and Spock have an interesting dynamic that is 100% back and forth in terms of how they express affection for each other. Chapel is trying to sort out her feelings, and Spock is navigating being half-human and half-Vulcan and how to express himself. He even struggles with T'Pring.Continuing to characterize Christine as "trying to be his girlfriend" and "obsessed" when in fact both parties have displayed the exact same levels of attraction and the exact same reluctance to act on those feelings, is really gross and borderline misogynistic.

No, no she isn't.but in SNW she is still the most meh female character.
In what way was Chapel "pining over Spock" in the alternate future? The only scene she was even in in that episode was near the end when Pike goes to sickbay and sees Spock has gotten a similar injury to what he should have gotten. True, Chapel was visibly upset when reporting Spock's statistics, but that need not mean there's anything romantic between the two. We already know from season 1 of SNW that Spock and Chapel have developed a close friendship. Add an extra seven years for that friendship to develop, and it becomes very understandable why Chapel would be so upset to see Spock essentially dead. The alternate reality episode has sort of given a lot away, we still Chapel pinning over him but it seem pretty clear that in that alternate future,
Wrong. Michael Burnham has been mentioned twice on SNW. Besides, Spock's mind meld with La'an, Spock also mentions to Pike how much he misses Michael in the premiere. They melded once, the one time the show talked about Michael.
