This picture made me think of a Klingon version of the Vulcan Katra Ritual...

Am I way off base or on to something?

Is Ash going to get his "Voq" back??

Did L'Rell pull Vog out of Ash during her 'cure' just to hold on to his 'Klingon Katra' till it could be put back at a later date???

And any guesses what a Klingon Katra might be called????

This certainly goes with the "Religion vs Science" aspect of the show that the creators have indicated.

I have a theory they're going to retcon the TOS Klingons and do away with the Augment virus. Ash will be the first TOS Klingon!

I'm all about retconning ENT but to what end would voluntarily creating a subrace of TOS Klingons serve? I can't really see someone like Kang going along with it...

Though I would get a kick out of it if they put Voq in a TOS Klingon Uniform as a nod or an in-joke.

Oh god, that is a good interpretation of that trailer shot. Which I am not enthusiastic about! The whole Voqler thing was such a mess ultimately, I really don't want any attempts to circle back to it.

He may even rally the QuchHa’ Klingons and become their torchbearer mirroring T’Kuvma...

Which is how such Klingons become the front line (probably canon fodder) officers on the new D7s
