Yeah, it started last night. With Bradley Walsh hosting, so I guess she was calling to Graham...
Being from the US and having never heard of it, it sounds like a fake show RTD might’ve come up with. The Doctor interrupts transmission and then returns to Blankety Blank, like the shows are so generic they didn’t bother naming them.
I didn’t realize the recording was from the telly, I thought the returning back to TV was part of the promo itself. Actually “interrupting” the actual broadcast makes sense and a fun way to do the advert.

Been on the BBC on and off for 45 years. Initially Terry Wogan, then Les Dawson, and a few revivals before the current one with Bradley.

The scheduling of the BBC America marathons at the end of the month point to a Halloween debut.
IIRC they were putting up Halloween decorations as set dressing when they were shooting Episode 1, so they were always aiming for around then.
So I'm really late coming to the last few seasons of DW, and I've avoided online discussions so nothing gets spoiled for me. I finally finished watching season 12. I'm not sure how I feel about this whole "Timeless Child" thing, but I am curious about how that will play out in the new season. I also feel like the concept of "The Hybrid" was kind of left hanging in the Moffatt/Capaldi days. Season 12 put us right in the middle of the actual ruins of Gallifrey (which is a big part of that prophecy), so I was hoping for some kind of reference, at least. But, nothing. And finally, I thought the "Brendan" storyline seemed to just kind of 'be there,' not really building anything up or having a decent payoff.

While John Bishop has been back at his regular job for a few weeks now, Jodie and Mandip are still shooting as of today, along with a mysterious figure who they wen to a lot of trouble to keep hidden.
In what is no doubt a completely unconnected event, one of the crew people walking into the location was carrying a box with "The Master Action Props" written on the side of it that was full of little dolls...

He's definitely in the other two, which were part of the original series plan. But Bishop's been on tour since the start of September, so it's looking like the day he shot scenes with Bradley might be it for this extra episode.
