Ehrenreich's acting for one thing, he is a much better Han then I expected. The tone of the film, it's light, fun, has the Star Wars spirit, the trailer itself sells it well with the music. Why? Which part of the trailer surprised you?

Lawrence Kasdan just doesn't understand what makes Star Wars what it is,
I'm wondering if we're possibly getting a train heist, we did see some kind of a train a couple times during the trailer.I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the film that the Falcon gets really trashed. I'm not sure what the movie is about but since Woody Harrelson is putting a crew together I'm guessing it's a heist movie. it looks good though I have to say Ehrenreich's voice is a little annoying. It will take a bit to get used to it since he sounds different than Ford.
WHAT????
He doesn't. Star Wars is more than just a generic space fantasy in the vein of something like Buck Rodgers or Flash Gordon, but Kasdan doesn't talk about or understand the mythological underpinnings that set it apart, and has admitted as much in interviews, and his involvement was as much a contributing factor as to why The Force Awakens turned out to be the "ANH" clone that it was as J.J. Abrams' involvement.
Do we know where they would be at this point in the canon timeline?Unless they find a way to shoehorn one or both into the story, in a manner similar to how both were given glorified cameos early in Season 1 of Rebels just so they could make appearances.
I believe it was originally "Kira" at least from the TFA concept art. I like that name and am glad to see it back.Qi'ra sounds like the name originally bandied about for the character who eventually became Rey. Star Wars rarely lets an unused name go to waste!
That's funny. Empire and Jedi were his partial brainchildren, and both of those films seemed to "get" what Star Wars is about.
Along with Lucas, Kasdan pretty much defined what Star Wars was about...fans second-guessing him nearly four decades later to the contrary.
It's not "second-guessing him nearly four decades later to the contrary"; it's taking his own statements in interviews at face value and applying them to the presentation of the content available.
BTW, is that Maz we see briefly at the 36 second mark?
I have never heard anyone complain about Lawrence Kasdan before. I fail at Interneting...
