Scripts

Vulagr

Commander
So, do you own any actual scripts or scriptbooks?

Have you ever actually tried to read them while watching the episode or movie at the same time?

I have ST II and two scriptbooks.

I own all of TOS season one (some early drafts, some final), and a handful from seasons two and three. All for the TOS films, plus a great number of story outlines and treatments.

I don't own any, but I've read the early draft of Star Trek (2009) at IMSDB.com. Some of the differences (Spock time travelling on purpose to save Romulus) are fascinating.

I'd love to read the scripts for Star Trek: The Beginning, the aborted Enterprise-era Romulan war film (cancelled in favour of JJ's movie) and Star Trek: The Academy Years, Harve Bennett's version of Kirk and Spock at SFA (cancelled in favour of STVI)

If anyone's got any links (and I know both scripts are out there), they'd be much appreciated!

I have copies of the scripts two-parter Kitumba written back in the 70s for the Phase II series. Hpe to get the other scripts for that series at some point.

The DS9 and TNG scripts were released in 1999. I think you can find them online.

In fact, there were CD-ROMs released for each series that had the scripts and "next week on" trailers for the episodes. I have the one for DS9, and had toally forgetten about it until I saw your post. Wonder where that thing is in my desk at home?

I have two DS9 scripts, Rejoined and Our Man Bashir, the latter signed by Avery Brooks and Andrew Robinson. Brooks even read out a couple of Dr Noah's lines... :bolian:
