It is interesting that in a blogging world where scoops are name of the game that a guy would choose to sit on what he says is a very big spoiler.

I must confess to curiosity as well, but as it is, all things in time.

Someone else will scoop it if it exists.

I like the idea of exploring alternate timelines. Two great stories that did that successfully are TNG episode "Parallels" and TNG novel "Q-Squared." It can be done very well with the right writer. If this rumor is true, I'm still convinced that JJA is the right guy and I'm still very hopeful.
