Scream Queens - Season 2

So now we have a total of three Green Meanies-- including Nurse Hoffel. Things just go from bad to worse. :rommie:

That slo-mo chase when Dean Munsch disqualified Chanel's blood cracked me up. Nobody can laugh with pitiless glee like Dean Munsch. :D

Poor Chanel #5. It's like they have to find some new and more horrible way to abuse her in every episode. Did they say she gave nine pints of blood in two days? That's about all there is. Maybe they're going to reveal that she's some sort of supernatural being or alien, because no human could survive everything she's been through. :rommie:

"99 Red Balloons." :rommie: That had to be one of the weirdest sequences of all time. "That song came out in 1982. You would have been like 20. Why did you need an au pair?" :rommie:

I knew that the evil hand would eventually take over, but that was hilarious. "That's how Baltimorians greet each other." Whack! Dr Holt's principled dedication to legitimate medical practices in this episode was almost jarringly out of place. But doing the surgery with one hand tied behind his back? Shoulda seen that coming. :D

I'm amazed he was able to do it with one hand!

Even his new hand wants to kill Chanel. Oh boy...

I hope Dr. Cassidy can try to be good for #3.

I know, I wonder why the new hand wants to kill Chanel. Did they transplant the wrong one?

That scene, that line it was perfect. (Plus, I'm one of those people that actually like that song.;))

Whenever I hear it on the radio, I've never been able to understand what they are singing, never knew the name of it either.

^^ There's two versions and one is in German, so that might be why.

That scene, that line it was perfect. (Plus, I'm one of those people that actually like that song.;))
I like it, too. It's very evocative of that era (I'm about the same age as Holt, though not quite as sexy :rommie: ). But the inappropriateness of it in that context just cracked me up. :rommie:

I have a crazy theory for why the new hand wants to kill Chanel. Maybe the old hand sent the new hand telepathic messages during the surgery.

Old Hand: "Hey you! Kill the blonde girlfriend!"

New Hand: "I'll make a note of it."

My theory: Cassidy gave him either another killer-hand or simply reatached the old one so that he can get around his promise to #3 that he won't kill Channel.

^^ It occurred to me that he might have somehow ended up with the same hand again. I envisioned a scene where there was a distraction during the operation and the Evil Hand switched places with the new hand.

New Hand: "I'll make a note of it."
:rommie:

It finally showed up yesterday (or maybe Saturday-- I didn't have a chance to check). That was definitely an unexpected twist, but brought a nice connection to the first season. But poor Chamberlain. :(

The generation gap between Brock and Chanel was hilarious. Hilarious and depressing. "I was slightly offended. And somewhat afraid for the future of our country." Yup. :rommie:

The game show sequence about the murders was great!

Poor #3. But I feel like in the end Cassidy will do the right thing.

I care #5. Good job. :techman:

There's a lovely rumor that Chad will come back in the finale, somehow.

"I've been here a month, and I've been paying attention."

The best revenge is to be wonderful. :)

Although now that she has dental insurance, #5 can get the teeth removed from her vagina?

His "Uncle Jesse days" may be far behind him but John Stamos doesn't look as old as that. Chanel really is stupid.

Fuller House Ma'am. :)

These are still his Uncle Jesse days.

I liked this exchange...

Brock: "You deserve to spend your last days however you want."

Dean Munsch: "Pounding?"

Brock: "Yes darling. Pounding."

It was great to see Denise again. I was hoping that Cassidy would have survived. He and #3 were so cute!

"Smoooke on the water...." A special song, because it was practically the only song they played at the first dance I went to in 7th grade.

Well, that's probably the end of Scream Queens. I doubt if it will get another renewal with those kinds of ratings. I don't understand why more people weren't watching. Anyway, that was a pretty satisfying ending and does leave the door open. I love Hester and Brock acting out "The Most Dangerous Game" on their private island. That could be the basis for a series right there. And Chanel #5 made out pretty well. And Dean Munsch's diagnosis of dehydration was hilarious-- nothing but gin and scotch. :rommie: And we had an appropriate horror movie shock ending.....

Would that fall under dental or GYN?

I'm so glad Denise came out of suspended animation just in time to save the day. I'm just surprised that Chad didn't make an appearance. Unless that was him in the back seat......
