Thank you, Uniderth!I've been watching this over at scifi-meshes. You've done amazing work.
Hello Ricky, Yes. I have been rendering with Cycles. The second image is actually WITHOUT Cycles, but all the others use Cycles.Looks awesome! Are you rendering with Cycles, or just the internal renderer? I haven't tried to do much with that, but it looks like everyone is moving that way.

Wow, thank you Gepard! I was trying to learn and do this LONG before TOS-R came around, but I certainly wasn't good enough. I'm still learning, but it would be fun. In fact, my long time project (beaten by almost everyone else who already was a fan and had the same idea) is to augment the effects in the episode The Doomsday Machine.See, now this is how TOS-R should have looked. It looks really, really good.
Thanks Bill! Coming from you, that's high praise for me! That shot was done WITH Cycles but WITHOUT Filmic Color Management System, just FYI.That second shot indeed looks like a screenshot.
Thank you!Nice version of the ship.![]()
Thank you very much for your kind encouragement!Wow! Absolutely amazing. That 2nd pic is beyond words. If it wasn't for the triangular shapes on the underside of the saucer being so strongly visible I wouldn't have known it wasn't from the actual show. Awesome!!!!!!!
