i can tell you what to avoid. avoid Night Fright like it is the plague. its really that bad. The Wasp Woman is good if you want to make fun of something.

I've never seen it, but if it's the John Sayles written and directed Brother from Another Planet, you should probably start there. I've heard plenty of good things about it, and it's the only title that I recognize on the list.

The Manster, which is a Japanese movie about a two-headed killer, is goofy fun if you're in the right frame of mind.

The Creeping Terror is one of the worst movies ever made. It makes Plan 9 look like Forbidden Planet . . . .

Galaxina is fun, though not one for the kiddies. Just be warned there's a song the crew starts singing about 15 minutes into the movie that once heard cannot be unheard...

It's Alive's trailer is more interesting (and terrifying) than the movie. Hopefully it's included.

And be warned: I think Abraxas is the one that stars Jesse The Body Ventura!

Thanks Guys, I was thinking about trying Abraxas, I believe that's the one that won the worst SciFi costumes Avatar contest, it seems to be quite popular :rommie:

I actually did pop in Glaxina, for a few minutes, because the name sounded familiar, it looks like cheezy fun.

The Creeping Terror, I've never seen, but, I believe I've had it on a complilation set before. Worse than Plan 9, eh? Never seen Plan 9 either, but, I've heard it's so awful it's good.

It's Alive, I remember hearing about from my school Days, it was a big movie that was coming out, that everyone was excited about seeing, and never saw it either.

Galaxina seems like it should be fun but I've always found it quite monotonous.

Most of these that I did see I watched what seems like a lifetime ago, probably 20+ years so I'm pretty hazy.

Slipstream I remember being a little interesting, it has Mark Hamill and involves gliders I think.

I remember It's Alive being goofy fun, the delivery scene is pretty out there IIRC.

Brother from Another Planet is kind of a gently movie with Joe Morton as an alien in the guise of a black man stuck in an urban environment so it's got a bit of a message thing going on.

I just remember Star Knight being weird, but then it has Harvey Keitel and Klaus Kinski so that's to be expected.

Escape From Galaxy 3 is Italian Star Wars crap using resources from Star Crash and plays like a sequel (or sidequel or whatever). Check out the heroine in a glittery outfit with one breast covered with a big star pastie a la Lil Kim. It's all pretty dumb.

The Day Time Ended is a mixed bag. It has some good elements but in the end it is hard to figure out just what the heck is happening.
