Contest: ENTER Scifi/F Av contest:Your Badass Buddy in the Apocalypse

This week's contest is about which TV or FILM science fiction, fantasy and/or horror characters would you pick to save your butt in the Apocalypse/impending doom/near hellish conditions. It needs to be a relatively "good" but tough/strong/great survivor character (re: badass) who would save your hiney--and at least that they ended up somewhat good, are fighting for the "good guys" or maybe even a previously bad character who is now doing something good. For instance, the Terminator in the first film isn't eligible but Arnie's character in Terminator 2: Judgment Day works perfectly. Negan in TWD season 6-9 is not eligible but for season 10 he certainly is. Some examples: Neo, Mal, Tallahassee in "Zombieland," Worf, Teal'c, Indiana Jones, Buffy, The Witcher, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel or Iron Man, Katniss, etc. TV & Movies only, please.

I will allow some leeway for "relatively good" and "badass," so if you have a good argument for a character, I'll listen.

Went with the superior of the movie versions, but in an actual apocalypse, I'd go with Jason Momoa over Arnie.

OK, well since I get two, here we go:

Richard B. Riddick. (One presumes the B. actually stands for "Badass".) This guy would be the muscle of our little posse. He's not a particularly "good" person, but he's willing to work together for the good of others. As long as you don't cross him first, you'll be fine. And dude knows how to survive.

Julian Bashir. It's the apocalypse, so there's probably going to be radiation, or a plague, or some other threat to your health, so it would be smart to have a doctor by your side. And his genetically engineered brain could come in exceptionally helpful if we need to defeat alien killbots or outsmart a super computer or something. But you might be saying, "Bashir... a badass?" Well, he volunteered to stay behind alone on the quickening planet, he stood up to Section 31, and he survived a Dominion prison camp. I think my odds increase significantly with him in my group!

As ludicrous as the A-Team often was, I don't think it qualifies as SF/F. And Chuck Norris is definitely not SF/F, everything you heard and read about him is absolutely true.

@DarthTimon you just need to resize your images and crop them.
i resized yours to 200px hight and then crop them square (200x200)
if you dont have a photo/image editing program, you can use one for free online, (ezgif.com etc...)
or download a free prog like Gimp. (I did this in ezgif) Give it a go, or you can of course use these if you want.

No worries. We do one about every 10-12 days-ish, so if you frequent the forum, you'll see lots of regular contests. The rules are always the same: the winner of the last contest puts up a new thread w/ a topic of their choice; there's about a week to enter. Then there's voting thread that lasts 3 or 4 days. Then the winner does the next thread. Rinse. Repeat.
