Contest: ENTER SciFi/F Av Contest: The Flip Side

This week's contest is devoted to alternate universes, different timelines, and evil twins in science fiction/fantasy movies, television and comics.Some examples: the multiple universes of Fringe, the mirror universe in the different incarnations of Star Trek, the afterlife universe in LOST, the multiple worlds of Sliders, the alternate realities and futures shown to Dean in Supernatural, not to mention the alternate timelines/universes seen in Buffy, SG1, Smallville, Lois and Clark...to name a few. It can be the "regular" character placed in alternate universe, the alternate versions of that character in their own universe, or ours, or both--whatever. I'll even accept "evil twins" in the main timeline (evil Supes, Lore, etc). Just ballpark it. If in doubt, just ask.

Standard av rules apply: 200 x 200 pixels, 1 MB max. The poll will go up on Wednesday the 21st.

You may enter TWO avatars (might change if we need more). You may enter an av from a source already entered, as long as it is a different scene or character. For instance, I'm entering Uhura in the Mirror Universe; if someone wanted to enter Mirror Universe Beard- Spock, that would be fine.

Time for some more "off the beaten path" entries.

This one is actually one of the first shows I think of when I think of parallel universes:

- Charlie Jade. Evil corporation discovers a way to travel to parallel universes, and proceeds to continue being evil. A detective, the titular Charlie Jade, gets accidentally thrown into a strange parallel universe... ours. I'd love to revisit this show some day, but as far as I know, it has never been released on home video in Canada.

This one may be borderline...

- Awake. An LAPD detective and his family are involved in a car accident. In the aftermath, he alternates between two different realities: one in which his wife survived the accident, but his son died, and the other in which his son survived, but his wife died. I say that it's borderline because the two separate realities were the only real SF&F element; other than that, it was largely a drama. If it doesn't count, let me know, and I'll try to come up with something else. I remember liking this when it first started, but unfortunately, I only saw the first couple of episodes before losing track of it. I'd like to see the rest, but again, no home media release here. And yes, that is a pre-Discovery Jason Isaacs!

^ those are both GREAT entries. I really liked Awake, but it struggled to find an audience and was quickly cancelled. Hubby is currently watching Charlie Jade via Amazon.

As stated in the OP, it's about alternate timelines, alternate universes,etc. The "evil twin" trope is just one part of it. So if you want to use something like that, it can be an image of only the evil twin, or both together. For example, Data and Lore togther, or an av of just the alternate or an obvious "evil" twin, like Mirror Universe Hoshi from ENT.
