This week's contest is about animated scifi and fantasy films that are NOT made by Disney. They should be animated or stop-motion feature length films (no shorts, please) by any studio that is not under the Disney or Pixar umbrella. Any film that has even moderate fantasy or scifi elements (re:talking animals) will do.
Some examples: Watership Down, Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Spirited Away, Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Book of Life, The Secret of NIMH , Wizards, Isle of Dogs,etc. Here's a handy list for reference.
Standard Av rules apply: 1 MB max, 200 X 200 pixels max. I'll put the poll up next Sunday, the 10th. Let's go with one entry per person; we can always change that later if we need to.
I got the idea when I noticed that some of the theaters in town are now showing The Iron Giant as part of their summer programming. So, accordingly, I'll go with that as my entry.
