This week's contest is devoted to your favorite scifi/fantasy/horror entertainment that came out this past calendar year: any genre TV show, movie, comic or novel that came out/aired in 2020 that you really enjoyed.

It's so rare that I see anything new, so the "that you enjoyed" part sort of limits my options.

I always try to make an effort for the new Star Trek shows, though. Since I don't want to hog two of the three options, I'll just go with one of them. I picked this one, since I get the sense it was the least popular of the three:

Star Trek: Lower Decks

There's not much else that I saw in 2020 that was actually originally released in 2020. But I did see this one, and I enjoyed it, so it will be my second entry:

(And it looks like it was one of my picks in the "looking forward to in 2020" contest, so there's that. )

I think the only other 2020 release that I've seen was Greyhound, but it's not SF&F, and I didn't really think it was that great. (Sorry, Mr. Hanks! )

Was A Quiet Place 2 released? I thought they pushed it to next year.

But, yeah, there are still several more options. Warrior Nun, Cursed, Stargirl, final season AoS, Arrow finale, final season Dark, Invisible Man, Project Power, Sonic the Hedgehog, ...
