This week's contest is about the heroes of science fiction and fantasy media--all the characters, both male and female, who appear in TV shows and movies and become our "heroes," for lack of a better term. A little moral ambiguity is fine (like Avon from "Blake's 7,") but let's try to keep them in the "mostly good" category. So, no Davros or Darth Vader but Blade and The Punisher would be acceptable. If you make a good case, I'll probably allow it. So, Batman, Ripley, Sarah Connor, Black Widow, Iron Man, Luke Skywalker, Captain Kirk, Mal Reynolds--you name it.
