Contest: ENTER Sci Fi & Fantasy Avatar Contest: "Future Tense"

In honor of a show that just ended the season on a major cliffhanger, this contest's theme is "future tense" -- any TV show or movie where they traveled forward in time into their respective futures. Not skipping ahead into a future that needs to be altered like Fringe, but actual time travel like Back to the Future Part II.

Actual time travel from the present of whatever TV show or movie into their future. Maybe I'm not being clear enough. Like in Back to the Future Part II, they actually traveled into the future. Not a time lapse where years go by and the next episode takes place in the future.

My first idea was the Justice League episodes The Once and Future Thing, but I didn't want two entries from the same series

Hmmm... doesn't look like this was a popular theme.

I think it's a good theme. It just tends to happen in time travel shows/movies that they're more likely to travel to the past (for obvious production-related reasons ) so maybe people are having a more difficult time finding future examples?

Although why no one has actually submitted a BTTF2 entry yet is beyond me!

^ I was referring more to the original version of the theme, with actual travel to the future. Agreed that flashforwards are probably a little more common than actual travel to the future.
