Since we're doing a Christmas theme in TV/Media, we might as well do one here, too. For this thread, however, there MUST be a fantasy or even scifi element--not too hard since Santa, elves, the Grinch, the Heat Miser, angels and alternate timelines are all fantasy elements. So bust out your holiday spirit and make an avatar for the contest!

If in doubt, just ask. Any Christmas or winter-themed tv show episode, movie or comic. Christmas must be a major part of the plot or theme, not just a minor background fact. The Nightmare Before Christmas, the different versions of Santa and the Elves, angels and spirits, talking reindeer, ...hell, I'll even accept Krampus.

Standard av rules apply :200 x 200 and 1 MB max, and they must be work-safe. I'll try to get the poll up on the 23rd.

Here's mine, from the Alastair Sim version of Scrooge, 1951.

Still time for more entries!

PS...I edited out all the dead space, @Snowy Road. If you wanted to, you could go with a smaller version

or a larger version

Well, I wasn't going to do multiple entries, but I might as well. Anyone who wants to enter twice can do so. @Snowy Road , you already have two entries.
This is my second av, The Snowman.

Seeing as comics are also allowed, I'll do a companion piece to Clark/Superman insisting on the existence of Santa Claus, to Superman actually meeting Santa Claus in the pages of "Superman's Christmas Adventure" Vol. 1, issue #1 from 1940.

The comic was a giveaway delivered to different department stores who'd put their business stamp on the covers. Lovely book with the story being kinda split in two parts, the first seeing Superman playing the Ghost of Christmas Present to a spoiled little rich boy who's bored by the toys his father bought for him, by taking him from his room at night in best Golden Age Superman fashion and showing him poor kids whose families can't afford new toys (or any toys at all). The second part has two old Scrooges trying to sabotage Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, and Santa needs Superman's help to get the presents delivered.
